Why is the system promoting the wrong song?

Learn how the system chooses which song to promote and how to control it using your active Discography.

The system promotes based on the songs you have selected as active.

PlaylistHub automatically promotes the songs you mark as active in your Discography. If you’re seeing a different song being promoted than expected, it’s usually because:

  • That song is currently active

  • Or it’s performing better based on recent data

✅ How to fix it:

If you want the system to focus on one specific song, make sure that:

  1. The song you want is active in your Discography

  2. You deactivate all other songs you don’t want promoted

  3. Ideally, keep only 1 to 2 songs active to avoid confusion

We generally recommend having 1 to 3 active songs for best rotation — but if you want the system to promote just one track, it’s safer to leave only that one (or two) active.

💡 The promotion is fully automatic — the system always chooses from the songs you’ve marked as active, based on genre, performance, and playlist match.
